Queensland, also known as the "sunshine state", is home of the Great Barrier Reef - the world's largest complex of coral reefs and islands. It is also one of Australia's most popular tourist destinations - especially the Gold Coast with its beautiful beaches, unbeatable diving, major theme parks and great party atmosphere.
